After a hard session of Table Tennis many of the seniors choose to reflect on the evenings events at one of the local watering holes, The Barrel in Thornbury where great food and a nice pint can be enjoyed at good prices. A particular favourite with the infamous Team Rubbish lead by Captain Grampy on his Kawasaki ZX10, followed closely by his motley crew and of course, the Team Mentor.

The 2008 Christmas Party
The club went on tour in 2006 and again in 2007.
In 2006 the destination was Ilfracombe in devon where Thornbury took on the local Table tennis club and 100 year old oak trees mysteriously appeared outside the hotel bedroom windows overnight. Not sure if it had anything to do with sampling some local brews during the late evenings.
In 2007 it was Brighton that was the chosen venue but with the hotels booked and everything in place the home team pulled out leaving the club with no option but to go ahead with the tour. The people that attended have dined out for a long time on some of the goings on, which are best left for another time.
