15/6/23 Our annual club AGM is to be held on Monday 19th June. Details from the club secretary are as follows:

Hi everyone! 

 

All members/attendees are cordially invited (and gently encouraged!) to attend our 2022-2023 Annual General Meeting, the details of which are below. It will be a review of the year, but most importantly it will be where the committee and members discuss the financial future of the Club. The current levels of income/expenditure are not viable, and so we will be discussing possible options going forward. 

 

(There will also hopefully be time for a drink and a chat afterwards - if everyone behaves themselves!)

 

- Date: Monday 19th June 2023

- Venue: The Royal George, Thornbury

- Time:

- We will pack up our club session early at 20:30 and all make our way to The Royal George, Thornbury (where I will book a pleasant meeting room upstairs)

- Ready to start meeting at 21:00

Thankfully the club will re-open tomorrow 27th June at 7pm marking a return to normal club nights (Monday's and Wednesdays 7:30 - 9:30pm.

IMPORTANT: Club closed Wed 2nd / Mon 7th / Wed 9th March due to school exams.
Please check the website for confirmation of re-opening on Monday 14th March.

Unfortunately the club will be closed on Monday 21st February due to school staffing issues. Please note the other forthcoming scheduled closures outlined in the article dated 14/10/22 below.

We're now fully open for social play and hosting league matches! After such a long enforced break it's wonderful seeing so many back for a game and a catch up. Mondays are now open again (7 - 9:30pm) but again please note the scheduled closures outlined in the article dated 14/10/22 below.

We're back! All being well Table Tennis is set to resume at our school venue on Wednesday 5th January. After such a long enforced break it will be wonderful to welcome you all back for a game and a catch up but please keep an eye on the website in case anything changes and also note the scheduled closures outlined in the article dated 14/10/22 below.
In the meantime may we wish you and your families a wonderful and safe Christmas in the hope that the New Year is better for us all.

ALL TABLE TENNIS AT THE CLUB IS SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTCE!
Due to rising Covid rates at the Castle School they have cancelled all sports bookings until further notice. All social play and home league matches will cease in the hall with immediate effect.
Tables are available to hire at the Thornbury Leisure Centre should anyone wish to continue practicing. The general website for booking is activecentres.org or alternatively phone 0300 333 0300
