The new Team Rubbish line-up embarked on a new season with a trademark display of both stunning and dismal shots amid an array of wine gums.
Lianne, returning to the team after over 10 years and new signing Si both showed moments of brilliance - wins will undoubtedly follow very soon. Our second new signing Len having made the move from higher divisions powered through to three straight wins in some style before being joined by Grampy in the doubles. Despite some ludicrous misses from the latter they took the final match in three.
The team then regrouped in the pub (our raison d'etre) - in this instance the wonderful Old Spot in Dursley to round off a great evening.
