This chilly November evening saw Len, Lianne and Grampy journey to Frampton for what should have been their home fixture (kindly rearranged by Frampton captain Alan due to the Covid closure of The Castle school hall). Len kicked off with a 3-0 win against John, Lianne unfortunately going down 0-3 to Alec and Grampy winning 3-0 against Alan. Len continued his 100% record with two further wins whilst Lianne came close to picking up her second game of the season losing 22-20 against John. With Grampy winning his final two matches and the doubles being skipped the final score was a win for the Thornbury trio 6-3. We then joined our opponents in the Bell where amongst the many varied conversations agreement was reached that the combination of Quavers and salted nuts is quite delicious.
