With Si laid up with a bad back it was Lianne Len and Grampy who made the trip to Woodchester on Tuesday night where they were met by Barry Morgan, Jon Bunn and old mate Tony Clarkson.Len got off to his usual winning ways beating Barry in three straight before Lianne and Grampy were defeated by Tony and Jon. Sadly, with Len suffering from the effects of an earlier booster jab only one further win was achieved when Len beat Jon meaning the final score was an 8-2 defeat.Again however the score did not reflect the night's play with some superb shots and extended rallies from all three of the Team Rubbish squad. Indeed perhaps the shot of the night went to Lianne who unleashed a breathtaking backhand winner diagonally from wide to her left.It was then time to revisit the Egypt Mill for a few pints and and chat with Tony, Barry and the Essex Witch.
